In Hawai'i, the fish hook is often regarded as a symbol of strength and brings good fortune to those who wear it. Usually given as a gift before a journey out at sea, the fish hook also symbolizes safe passage over water.
These hook pendants feauture a realistic design to the hooks used to catch large fish such as the Ulua or Giant Trevally with a beautiful Tahitian Pearl set in the bottom curve of the hook. The bail is hidden so the chain will be thread through the hole at the top of the pendant. Pendant can accomodate up to about a 6MM round style chain.
These pearls derive from the beautiful waters of Tahiti! Each pearl is unique and may vary in size and color as no two pearls are exactly alike.
